What goes up must come down. The HSP Tail Assist For Ford Ranger MY19 and Raptor uses a one-strut system working in perfect harmony with the factory torsion bar. The strut is designed to dampen the decline of the tailgate, so the user can let the tailgate drop without worrying and the torsion bar works by offsetting the tailgates weight when inclining, allowing an effortless lift.
