The thermo switch is a mechanical switching device designed to respond to changes in coolant temperature allowing the operation of the electric radiator thermo fans. PWR Thermo Switching control is achieved through a bimetal alloy leaf, which deflects with changes in temperature opening and closing a set of contacts. Each switch is calibrated to specific ON/OFF temperature ratings.
